Accepting applications for Faculty Council's research and professional development grants
The Faculty Council of the College of Humanities and Sciences is pleased to announce that applications for its 2023 grant program are now open. These grants support professional development and scholarship, and are open to all CHS faculty.
Funds will be awarded in late March and may be used through the end of June. The application deadline is March 1 and awards cannot exceed $1,000 per faculty member.

Applications due for Humanities Research Center residential fellowships on March 1
The HRC invites applications for faculty residential fellowships during the 2023-24 academic year focused on the theme, “Health and Medical Humanities.” The selected residential fellows will form an intellectual community of faculty of diverse academic ranks and departmental affiliations who will contribute to and learn from each other’s work by developing research projects related to the theme, which draw from the humanities, arts and social sciences to examine the systematic and structural inequities that produce health and healthcare disparities, and to create alternatives. Applications are due March 1.
